A Second job

I think the day may have come when I need a second job. I hate to even consider that but there's no other options I can find at this point. It is truly torture when you get paid and all but maybe $150 is spent on the crap you found a way to get yourself into. Now I'm not bad with money. There have been a few I'll fated mistakes recently that have cost me a whole bunch of money in a really little time period. Plus things just cost more now and our wonderful government isn't doing a thing to help that. Why does it cost $60 to fill up my truck? When did $100 a month for a cell phone become "not so bad"? (I do love my phone though). Why do the jeans that aren't even made by the fashionable company cost almost $50? Things are getting out of hand and I can't find the frivolity in me to take a slip on that department store floor with no sign that says slippery when wet and "accidentally" fall and hurt myself. Big court payouts over people not having common sense is a level I just can't go to. Maybe just maybe one day the right person is gonna find my resume in that stack of papers that hasn't moved in months and think "now here is someone who needs a shot". Till then it's working everyday and slowly but surely inching my way along the race that is life. But on the other hand...it could be worse!

Thanks for reading

  1. hmmmm, my cell phone bill is not $100 and no one told u to get a iphone, i dont pay $50 for jeans...the most 39.99 or no one told u to get a truck that cost -$60 dollars to fill up, mine cost $35... just seems like your complain about the lifestyle you want to live and not what you can be paying

  2. Well I did say almost $50 which means when you walk into a store and a pair of levis costs anywhere from 38 to 48 dollars a pair. I don't have to have such an expensive cell phone or a truck with such a big gas tank but I guess I didn't do a good job of getting my point across very well. I have a huge problem with how much things cost now, not so much with how much I have to pay. Maybe one day i'll get a cheap little car and a generic cell phone. just maybe.
